The Department of Applied Chemistry is growing as a center of excellence. The Department has a team of faculty members graduated from various premier Institute of higher learning like IITK and JU. The laboratories are equipped with sophisticated analytical Instruments. The Department at present offers two common courses to all engineering disciplines.

         The research activities were initiated since its inception. One research project sponsored by MHRD and AICTE is in progress. The faculty members are actively engaged in consultancy work.
